FINAL LESSON OF KHWAJA MUINUDDIN CHISHTI RA

The final discourse of Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti RAto his students, one month before his death:

Love all and hate none.
Mere talk of peace will avail you naught.
Mere talk of God and religion will not take you far.
Bring out all the latent powers of your being
and reveal the full magnificence of your immortal self.

Be overflowing with peace and joy,
and scatter them wherever you are
and wherever you go.

Be a blazing fire of truth,
be a beauteous blossom of love
and be a soothing balm of peace.

With your spiritual light,
dispel the darkness of ignorance;
dissolve the clouds of discord and war
and spread goodwill, peace, and harmony among the people.

Never seek any help, charity, or favors
from anybody except God.
Never go the court of kings,
but never refuse to bless and help the needy and the poor,
the widow, and the orphan, if they come to your door.

This is your mission, to serve the people.....

Carry it out dutifully and courageously, so that I, as your Pir-o-Murshid,
may not be ashamed of any shortcomings on your part
before the Almighty God and our holy predecessors
in the Silsila on the Day of Judgment.

THE KARAMAT (MIRACLE) OF MAULANA QASIM NANOTWI RA

Once a group of people who were against Maulana Qasim Nanotwi RA, came to him asking him to pray the jannaza salah of a boy. What they had actually had done was made a plan to mock Maulana and make a fool out of him. They told a boy to lay down in a shroud and pretend  to be dead, and after the janaza salah they would give a signal for him to get up. But Maulana Qasim Nanotwi RA was already aware of this due to the following;

Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) relates that Prophet (SAW) said: “Be fearful ofMomin’s intelligence and his foresight in understanding of the human nature, because he sees things by Allah’s given vision,” and recitedAayah 75 of Surah Al-Hijr, which reads:
“There truly is a sign in this for those who can learn” [Tirmizi]

So they asked Maulana to perform the jannaza salah he refused and said I would not do so, they asked again and he declined again. They persisted in their request and finally Maulana accepted, after the salah had finished they signaled to the boy to get up and he would not do so. Maulana Qasim Nanotwi RA said " he will now wake up on the day of judgement"

narrated by  Hazrat Shaykh Abdur Raheem Naqshbandi Mujaddidi db

The moral of the story is do not disrespect and hold enmity against the friends of Allah and if you cannot respect them, then keep your distance from them. The following should explain why;

In Bukhari Shareef, Hadrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu ta'ala Anhu) reports the following Hadith-e-Quddsi:

The Most Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam) has said
that Allah said,

“Whoever shows enmity to a friend of mine, I shall be at war with him.”

Hazrat Khawaja  Muhinuddin Chishti RA narrated:

“There was a man who hated the Awliya.  When he died, and was placed in the grave, the people tried to turn his face towards the Qibla, but it would  always turn away from that direction. The people were astonished at this  action.  There was a voice from nowhere announcing, ‘It would be a futile  exercise to try to turn his face toward the Qibla, because he used to turn  his face away at seeing the Awliya, and that he who would turn his face in disgust from My friends, I will turn My face on him.  He is a condemned soul, and on the day of judgement, such people will appear with faces of donkeys."

THE GREATEST JIHAD IS OBEDIENCE TO ONE’S PARENTS

It is stated in an incidence that there were so many hundreds of thousands of people congregated at Arafa during hajj one particular year. There, a servant of Allah received a divine call saying that the hajj of all the people weeping on the plain of Arafa would have not been accepted by Allah if it were not for one person, it also stated who that one person was. He was not even amongst the pilgrims. It was told that this person was from such an area (with his address) of Sham.

After completing hajj, the person who heard the call located  the person in Sham. He reached his address and found him to be an average layman, a pious religious man. He asked the man,

“What is it you do [so commendable]?”
He replied,  “Nothing, I am just one of His sinful servants.”

After not finding  anything out  through much questioning, he had  to  reveal  the  call he had heard on  the plain of  Arafa which said that hundreds of thousands of pilgrims’ hajj was only
accepted by means of this person’s blessings. “Tell me, what is so special about you? What deed do you perform?” he asked. Now the person had to tell. He said,

 “Well, actually I had arranged transport, food provisions and financial preparations
To go to hajj. However, I was blessed with seeing the Prophet SAW in my dream who said, “You intend to go for Hajj leaving your mother in this state?”

As I woke up that morning, I distributed all that I had prepared amongst the poor.
My mother lives with me, and I continue to serve her. Hence, hundreds of  thousands of peoples pilgrimage was accepted  through  the blessings of  this person.

THE SAINT FROM SHAM INTENSE LOVE FOR SHAYKH ZAKARIYA KANDHALVI RA

A saint from Sham (Syria)  once came to Madrasa Sulaytiyya in Mecca Mukarrama. He met with Shaykh Zakariya kandhalvi RA  and began continuously kissing him as he cried. He told the Shaykh that he obtained a  volume  of his  commentary  on sahih  al-Bukhsri,  Al-Lami al-Durari, thirteen years ago. He says that he
supplicated Allah Most High,

“O Allah! Allow me to meet the author in my lifetime,”

All gratitude to Allah, his supplication had been accepted. Such a learned scholar of Sham, the center of sacred knowledge, spirituality and home to erudite scholars to date  supplicated after every Salah for thirteen years to meet the author. He cried as he told the Shaykh that his years of supplication had been accepted, by the grace of Allah.

Shaykh Maulana Yusuf Motala Saheb

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 5017        Narrated by Anas ibn Malik

A man passed by the Prophet (saws) when some people were with him, and one of those who was with him said, "I love this man for Allah's Sake."  The Prophet (saws) asked if he had informed him, and when he replied that he had not, the Prophet (saws) said, "stand up and go to him and inform him."  He stood up, went to him and informed him, and he replied, "May He for Whose sake you love me, love you!"  He then returned, and when the Prophet (saws) had asked him and he had told him what he had replied, he (saws) said, "You will be with him whom you love and you will have the reward you sought from Allah."

SHAYKH ABDUL QADIR JILANI RA - REVIVER OF ISLAM

Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani RA states that he was once walking along when he noticed a really weak and feeble man who could barely breathe. He says that his heart melted for him. Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani RA drew closer and sat down near him. After a short while, he saw that his breath, which was on the brink of stopping, became stronger. His body began moving, and he opened his eyes. “As well as being relieved. I was amazed at what I saw,” he says. He further states, “When his decaying body of flesh and bones and without any meat, began forming back to a healthy human with fully fleshed hands and feet, I felt petrified as to what was happening?”
He says,

“The person immediately sat up straight. “Do not be  scared. Do you recognise me?” he asked.

“No,” I replied.

“I am the religion of your forefather   (for he was a direct descendant of the Noble Prophet SAW)
and you have brought me to life, thus you are Mu_y al-Dīn (Reviver of Islam).”

SWEETNESS OF DEATH - HAZRAT MAULANA YUNUS PATEL RA

According to one of his students, Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel RA finished Magrib salah, prayed his 2 rakat of Sunnah, and then told his students, "Let's move back a bit because people are making tawaaf." While he was walking back away from the Kabah, he felt sharp pain in his chest. His students noticed his discomfort and pain and immediately brought him a chair. Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel RA sat down on the chair, facing the Kabah, and began making Dua. He then recited the Kalimah while looking towards the Kabah, and then collapsed. Died of a heart attack.

Allahu Akbar.

Beware, verily on the friends of Allah, there is no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Holy Quran - Surah Yunus, Verse 62)

COLONEL AMIRUDDIN SAHIB RA - THE SILENT VOICE OF TABLIGHI JAMAAT

The author of Fatawa i-Rahimiyya wrote, “The famed preacher from Hyderabad (Deccan), Colonel Amiruddin, at whose hands nearly three thousand Americans have accepted Islam” - Fatawa-e-Rahimiyah Vol.1, Lajpuri, 1975.

Colonel Amiruddin Sahib RA the Amir of Canada,  has died today (18th Sep 2012) at the age of 99 in Toronto (Innaa Lillahi Wa Innaa Ilayhi Rajioon). He converted over 5500 people to Islam and said he stopped counting to maintain his sincerity. He was a man of complete sincerity, a shining light in these dark times.  For over 55 years of his life he traveled more than 72 countries, spending whatever he earned in his life in the path of Allah .He practice was to go in the path of Allah for about 8 months in a year and spends  4 months with his family.

Colonel Amiruddin Sahab RA born to a Scottish lady, Ella Allen later to become Halima Farid ud-Din, who converted to Islam when she was  16 years old after dreaming of the Kaaba. she married Nawab Farid ud-Din Khan a descendent of the prophet SAW two years later while he was in Scotland.
in 1967, Colonel Amiruddin Sahab RA was permitted to enter the lower inner sanctum behind the auspicious golden gate and visit the tomb of the Prophet SAW where he says, he heard the Prophet SAW reply to his salaam, which caused him to fall unconscious.  He was also instrumental in bringing Shaykh Abdul Fattah  Abu Ghuddah  to Hyderabad, India.

He was initiated into the Naqshbandi tariqat by the Muhaddith of Deccan Syed Abdullah Shah Naqshbandi RA and also of Moulana Yusuf Kandhalvi RA. He moved on foot through jungles of Africa, in the heat of Arabia and the bitter cold of Europe to spread Islam.  In one of his banyans he states;
        “It was the time when there was tension in south Africa between whites and blacks, jamat were not given permission to enter. Hazrat Moulana Yusuf RA asked Colonel Amiruddin Sahab RA  " you are Colonel and u must find a way to enter into Africa".  A plan was made, they walked the jungles of Africa for around 4000 km in the path of Allah and it took 7 months . Only two days had passed that police caught them and put the jamat in jail. People came to know that a jamat has come from India and were bringing meals to prison. The meals were so much that they were distributed in prison and many of the prisoners accepted Islam by seeing the atmosphere in jail and preaching’s of the jamat.

Since Colonel sab was a white man they requested him to leave Africa but he replied “we want to meet our brothers here.” He was then questioned by the leading officer for  the reason  of coming to Africa, he took out a pen and paper and the  wrote six points of tabligh and said

                                              "we  have come to learn this.”

I request you pray surah ikhlas 3 times for Isale Sawab;

Abu Saed al-Kurri (may Allah be pleased with him)  said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to his Companions: ‘Could any one of you not recite one third of the Quran in one night?’ They found the idea too difficult and said: ‘Who among us could do that, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said, ‘Allahu’l-ahad, al- samad [i.e., Surah al-Ikhlas] is one third of the Quran.’” (Reported by Bukhari, 4628)

May Allah protect him from the punishment of the grave and give him Jannatul
Firdaus. (AMEEN)
